About the Clinician's WorkdayThe clinical psychologist will provide full-time, on-site psychological care to an adult inpatient population within a correctional setting, working a guaranteed weekday schedule of either 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Daily responsibilities include evaluating referrals from clinical staff, providing individual psychotherapy and counseling, conducting mental status and suicide risk assessments, and determining the appropriate level of care or observation as clinically indicated. The clinician will coordinate referrals to psychiatry and other appropriate professionals as needed. No call coverage is required for this position.
