Key Responsibilities of the EMT - Paramedic

• Provide emergency medical care in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner system
• Adhere to patient experience protocols such as AIDET
• Exercise flexibility to work in various areas of the emergency department

Requirements of the EMT - Paramedic

• Valid ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications before starting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center and high-volume emergency department
• At least 1-year experience specifically in an ER setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
