Cake Decorator

As a Cake Decorator, you will assemble and prepare cakes for both in-shop display and custom orders including building cakes with ice cream, frosting, decorating with icing, chocolate, and edible images. You will also help maintain a clean and organized shop including restocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the production of cake and prepared ice cream treats and take pride in maintaining a beautiful and well stocked display case.
2. Maintain a clean, stocked and organized work area
3. Adhere to all Baskin-Robbins dessert decorating quality standards, as well as safety and sanitation regulations.
4. Prepare specialty cake orders.
5. Manage cake, icing and decoration inventory.
6. Review videos on new cake and ice cream items as added.
7. Prepare all cakes and ice cream treats to Baskin-Robbins specifications and standards.
8. Helping out in the front of the store if it gets busy and your assistance is required.
9. Managing inventory and rotating products

Qualifications

• Cake decorating experience
• Dependable and reliable
• Creative and artistic abilities
• Proficient in use of all cake decorating tools and equipment
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be available weekends and holidays

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Standing on feet
• Repetitive motion including bending, stooping and reaching
• Lifting objects, ice, products, boxes up to 50 lbs (if applicable)
• Working in a small space
